How to delete your account

You can delete your Devoku account and associated personal data at any time.

Option 1 — In the app (fastest)

Open Devoku (web, desktop, iOS, or Android) and sign in.
Go to Settings → Privacy & data.
Select Delete my account and confirm.

This triggers account deletion (GDPR Article 17) and anonymizes your personal data.

Option 2 — By email

If you cannot access the app, email privacy@devoku.com from the email
address on your account and request deletion. We may need to verify your identity
before acting.

What gets deleted

When you delete your account, we anonymize the personal data associated with it,
including:

your profile (email, display name, avatar, profile color);
your chats, uploaded files, and voice recordings;
your agent/"employee" configurations and workspace data; and
your device and session information.

Running cloud virtual machines associated with your account are stopped and removed.

What may be retained, and for how long

Some records are retained, in anonymized or minimized form, where we are legally
required or permitted to keep them — for example:

billing and credit records (for accounting and tax obligations); and
audit logs (for security, fraud prevention, and legal compliance).

These are kept for up to 7 years for billing and tax records where required; otherwise only as needed for legal, security, and fraud-prevention purposes and then deleted or further
anonymized. Residual copies in encrypted backups are overwritten on our normal backup
rotation.

Data you can export first

Before deleting, you can download a copy of your data from Settings → Privacy & data
→ Export my data (GDPR Article 20), which includes your profile, credit ledger,
teams, and audit trail.
